Carrie Jenkins is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor through the state of South Carolina. Ms. Jenkins completed her undergraduate studies at Elon University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. She completed both her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling and Supervisory coursework at The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. Carrie has worked in a Children’s Advocacy setting throughout her career as a Therapist, Forensic Interviewer, Clinical Supervisor, and now as the Problematic Sexual Behavior Treatment Specialist. She currently Co-owns Grimm & Jenkins, LLC doing training and consultation in Problematic Sexual Behavior- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) and licensure supervision. In 2016, Carrie became a Clinical Trainer and Consultant in PSB-CBT with the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth. As a Trainer and Consultant, Carrie has supported the training, implementation, and sustainability of PSB-CBT with teams across the United States in serving both adolescents and school-age children. Carrie, herself, has been providing PSB-CBT to adolescent and school-age families since 2010 and continues to implement and oversee service delivery at Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center as well as train providers internally. Ms. Jenkins also served as the Co-Chair for the National Children’s Alliance Workgroup for Youth with Problematic Sexual Behaviors from 2018-2020. Ms. Jenkins is a Nationally Certified TF-CBT clinician and in 2021 became a certified TF-CBT Supervisor.
